Request Account Deletion
To delete your Recito account and everything stored with it, send a deletion request using either channel below. Include the email address your Recito account is registered under and the subject line Delete my Recito account so we can locate and verify your account.

No account, login, or app install is required to submit a request on this page.
Delete Individual Items Instead
If you want to keep your account and remove only some content, open Recito, go to Profile, and delete individual documents or files.
What Is Deleted
An account deletion request permanently removes:
- Your Recito account and profile
- Documents and study materials
- Uploaded files (images, PDFs, scans)
- Voice recordings and transcriptions
- Chat history and AI-generated insights
- Categories and user preferences
What May Be Retained
Minimal security and transaction logs are retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention and legal compliance, then deleted. Nothing retained is used to identify or contact you.
How Long It Takes
Processing Time
Your account and associated data are deleted within 30 days of a verified request.
